Enhancing the Use of Cost Effectiveness Evaluation by HIV Prevention Community Planning Groups
Cost effectiveness evaluation is one of several economic evaluation tools available to U.S. HIV prevention community planning groups (CPG) for decisionmaking. Tools of cost effectiveness evaluation have recently become available; however, many CPGs have not made use of these tools in their priority setting processes. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Academy for Educational Development (AED) has asked the Policy Resource Group, LLC to help document the work, activities, and outcomes of efforts made to assist CPG use of cost-effectiveness in priority setting.
